Bill Martin ~ “Various drawings to clarify the vision” ~ ink and pencil

I’ve been asked to paint my view of infinity. I’ve said I will. In previous paintings I’ve touched on the infinite, “Between Worlds” and “Falls” are examples, so it seems possible.

As I thought about how to present all of infinity in a painting, I recalled a vision I had coming out of hospital drugs. I remember looking back over my left shoulder and seeing—Everything. I was having an out of body and an out of universe experience. I remember thinking, Aha! So that’s what it all looks like!

So to bring back and clarify that vision, these drawings were made. What I’m looking for is the one that sends that chill down my spine again.
